At Dave's Catering, I have a deep passion for food and its power to bring people together. I grew up in my great aunt's Italian restaurant kitchen in upstate New York "stirring the sauce" as a child. 

I have loved cooking and entertaining ever since, which led to the creation of my catering company where I can share my passion for delicious, flavorful food with that home-cooked feel.

After moving to San Francisco in 1993, working in some of the top restaurants in the city, I moved to Los  Angeles and started Dave's Catering in 2008. 

In LA, I catered all types of events from private celebrity parties, to weddings, award shows, and even TV cooking shows.

In 2019 I wanted to share my love of food with the Greater Palm Springs area and moved the company to Rancho Mirage.

I love growing my own herbs to create delicious, fresh dishes and sauces, like my own special recipes of Chimichurri or Salsa Verde.

Fresh herbs, fruits, vegetables, and even edible flowers help make your event extra special.

Palm Springs and the surrounding area from Joshua Tree to La Quinta is a favorite  choice for event planners for weddings, celebrations, and other important life events. And we are here with you to make the food extra special for your event.

We specialize in creating a menu that reflects who you are with a bit of a home-style, California flair.
